1-22-2012ANOTHER GREAT NIGHT AT THE MIXx !!

Even with the threat of a snowstorm approaching - we had a great turn-out - so a great BIG Thank You to everyone who came out to support us!  

We were joined up on stage this night by two very special guests.

Once again, Steve Andrusyshyn came up and entertained us all on Saxophone for a couple songs....and Fran Mayville from the Lehigh Valley based band "The Acoustic Project" came up and sat in with us on drums!

1-18-2012BIG NEWS !!!

We are proud to announce that we have added a new member to the line-up !!

Kevin Dotterer is the latest addition to the BEATS WORKIN' family.
Kevin is an amazing and accomplished keyboard player that has been playing the Eastern PA / Western NJ club scene for many years.  Kevin is also a very skilled percussionist and has been known to sing a song or two - here and there !!!  

We are very fortunate to have him in the fold  - and Al is thrilled to be playing with family - that's right - Kevin is Al's uncle !!

Kevin makes his BEATS WORKIN' debut THIS FRIDAY, January 20, 2012 at THE MIXx  - Come on out and help us welcome him aboard!
1-15-2012Great night last night playing for the volunteers at the Seisholtzville Fire Company.  Thanks SO MUCH for having us  - We had a great time and look forward to performing for you all again soon!

12-18-2011WHAT A GREAT TURN-OUT FRIDAY NIGHT !!!

Thanks to EVERYONE who came out for our Christmas Party at The MIXx. By far - the best crowd we have had yet!!!

Special thanks to Steve Andrusyshyn for coming out and joining us for this show - you added a whole new dimension to our sound !!

NEW DATE !!

This coming Friday night - December 16, 2011 the band will be making it's final public appearance for 2011 !!  This is our Christmas Pary at The Mixx in Allentown.  We will be joined by our good friend Steve Andrusyshyn for this show.

Steve is quite an accomplished musician and has toured all over the US. For those of you who know Steve, I don't have to tell you what a treat this truly is!

10-16-2011Our Rocktober party at The Mixx was a BLAST!

The band was SMOKIN' last night....thanks so much tor all who came out to support us !!  We even had a few special guest appearances too...

Former Bassist for Beats Workin' - Gina Balducci came out and took the stage with us.  Gina is currently with Nakked Soul Band, so if you get the chance be sure to check them out!

Bruse Clauser, lead guitarist for the band JYNX came up and did a few songs with us as well. JYNX has been around since 1975 and continues to be one of the best known and well followed bands in the area.

9-11-2011Another great night at The MIXx !!.

Former Beats Workin' drummer Michael Hughes came out and did a few songs with us. Mike is currently the drummer for the progressive pop band FIREMONKEY.  Their band is currently touring the US and will be appearing at Bar East in New York City on October  22, 2011.  You can find links to their Facebook page and to their internet radio site on our LINKS page.

8-23-2011NEW DATES !!  It's been a while since we have updated the site - thanks for your patience everyone!

We have two new dates to report - Thanks to all the support we have received from you guys - The MIXx wants us back and has given us two new dates.  Both of these dates are on SATURDAY night instead of the Fridays we have been playing.  
The dates are:

Saturday - September 10, 2011 (9:00 pm to 12:00 am)
Saturday - October 15, 2011 (9:00pm to 12:00 am)

7-8-2011What an AWESOME night and what an AWESOME crowd!  A great big THANK YOU to ALL that came out to see us on Friday night.

Happy Birthday wishes go out to Sarah Redcay !!!  Thanks for coming to party with us!!

Special thanks to our good and long time friend Steve Andrushen who came up and performed a few songs with us this night - it was a special treat for us indeed!!

6-10-2011 WOW - Thanks to all of you who came out to the MIXx last night !! We truly had a blast playing for everyone last night.  The club has expressed interest in having us back in both July and August, and as soon as we can coordinate and finalize the dates we will get them out to everyone!

5-3-2011 We just got the confirmation today - we will be making our first appearance at The MIXx (Formerly Tk's) in Allentown on June 10, 2011.  For details see the Concert Calendar page !!
4-26-2011 For those who missed our first appearance at Grumpy's Bar-B-Que Roadhouse, you are in luck !!  The band will be making an encore appearance on May 5, 2011. Come on out for another Short Set Showcase!  For details see the Concert Calendar page !!
