most
at home behind the mic.

Chris
Hittinger - Bass Guitar, Vocals
Music
has always been in my life in one way or another. I started taking
lessons in my teens and ended up joining my teacher's band.
I' ve
always been intrigued by the likes of Motown great James Jamerson and
Paul McCartney, guy's who could lay down a bass line around 3 or 4
chords and groove all the way.
Some
of my favorite artist's are The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and the
Eagles. BEATS WORKIN' is a band about playing music and having fun, and
I'm doing just that.

Gary
Raatzs - Lead Guitar, Vocals
The
first time I picked up a guitar, I was 11 years old, and here I am,
still playing, some 30 odd years later !! . I originally got involved
in the music scene in PA sometime in the late 1980's and have played in
a number of bands throughout the years. My music tastes are quite
varied, but I would have to say that Hard Rock, Classic Rock and
Southern Rock have all inspired me to a great extent. Guys like Gary
Rossington, Allen Collins, Ace Frehley, Ted Nugent and James Burton are
among my biggest influences.
This
is my second go round in BEATS WORKIN'. I am one of the
original
members from when the band was formed in 2002, however, I left the band
in 2005 to pursue other opportunities. It's great to
be back again making music and having fun with these great people....

Allen
Sandt – Drums, Vocals
I
have always been involved in music all my life.. Even though
I
played various other instruments, the drums have always been my
favorite. I have played with several bands since
middle
school, playing anything from Jackson Brown and Doobie Bros, to Black
Sabbath and Judas Priest.
I
had been on a hiatus from playing for several years when I was
approached in 2002 by these guys to play in a low pressure variety
band, and BEATS WORKIN' was formed. I too left in 2005 to
pursue
other interest. As the others on this page say, it is great
to be
back with these guys and having fun. After all, our goal is to portray
fun.
My
musical influences are the great classics, Kansas, Led Zeppelin, Rush,
and Boston, and more.

 | Kevin Dotterer - Keyboards, Vocals
Being the youngest member of a very musical family, I began
my career playing drums when I was 8 years old. I began playing the Eastern PA and Western NJ club scene when I
was 15, mainly as a lead singer or drummer lead singer. That is, up until 1991, when my two best
friends asked me to rejoin them as a lead singer keyboard player. I left the
club scene in December of 2002, and had been working at writing original music
when Allen asked me if I might like to give BEATS WORKIN' a try. How could I say no to finally getting a
chance to perform with my nephew, yes that’s right, I’m Allen’s uncle. I enjoy
the high energy of this band!!!
I love playing all types of music, including oldies, funk,
pop, rock, and country. I’ve been
influenced by many performers, The Beatles, Beach Boys, Stylistics, Kool and
The Gang, The Commodores, Yes , Boston, Kansas and Three Dog Night, just to
name a few.
More than anything, I like interacting with the people who
come to hear us play.
